Blackburn to win and both teams to score (10/3)

Blackburn have just two wins in their last 11 matches.

However, at home to a struggling Blackpool side, Tony Mowbray’s team should be good enough.

The Seasiders have failed to score in just 17 percent of their away games this season, so goals from both teams are likely.

Ben Brereton Díaz to score last (14/5)

The striker had been enjoying a strong season before the injury.

He will now be hoping to return from injury and get Rovers back into the top six.

Match preview: Blackburn Rovers vs Blackpool

Blackburn were held to a 2-2 draw with Coventry on Saturday with the hosts snatching a late equaliser.

Mowbray’s team were denied a win deep in stoppage time as Viktor Gyökeres netted for Coventry.

The striker scored in the 99th minute to stop Blackburn from taking all three points.

Rovers have now won just twice in their last 12 and their playoff hopes are starting to fade.

The loss of Ben Brereton Diaz to injury has been a massive blow for them.

Blackpool suffer back to back defeats

Blackpool suffered a second defeat in a row during midweek.

The Seasiders were beaten away at Preston having also suffered a defeat against Nottingham Forest.

Neil Critchley’s side lost 1-0 against their rivals with Cameron Archer scoring the only goal in stoppage time in the first-half.

The defeats saw Blackpool drop into 16th place.
