Match preview: Blackburn Rovers vs Stoke City

Blackburn Rovers’ promotion push continued to unravel on Friday.

Tony Mowbray’s side suffered another defeat as they lost to Peterborough United.

The Posh won 2-1 coming from behind late on to win the match.

They scored in the 83rd and 87th minute to snatch all three points.

Rovers have now won just once in their last eight matches but are still just two points off the top six.

Stoke City were beaten late on against Bristol City.

The Potters suffered a 1-0 defeat at home to the Robins.

Jay Dasilva scored in the 84th minute to win the match for Bristol.

Michael O’Neill’s side were once again unable to build on a win.

They have now lost two and won two in their last four.

Two defeats in their last three games has seen them drop into 15th place.
