Match preview
Two sides separated by just three points in the Championship table are set to lock horns at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday, November 8th.
The clash in question will see a Cardiff City outfit on the up play host to a struggling Hull City side.
Starting with the former, Cardiff, over the course of the last week, have enjoyed a timely return to form.
After being dragged into the thick of the relegation battle owing to just five wins from their opening 16 attempts, the Bluebirds have since rattled off victories in two of their last three.
A showdown at the Stadium of Light was ultimately decided by a solitary goal, as Mark Harris’ finish early in the 2nd-half ensured that it was Cardiff who emerged with all three points.
Mark Hudson’s outfit, in turn, have climbed to 14th in the table in England’s 2nd-tier, four points clear of the drop zone.
Another victory in midweek, meanwhile, could guide them to the heights of mid-table.

And Tuesday’s hosts will no doubt fancy their chances of managing exactly that, up against a Hull City outfit majorly struggling for form.
The Tigers, all told, have clinched just a solitary point from an available nine stretching back to late last month.
This one point, though, to their credit, did come last time out, and in commendable fashion.
A trip to The Den to take on Millwall played out into a 0-0 stalemate, as a Hull outfit under the watch of new head coach Liam Rosenior showcased some much-needed defensive stoutness.
One altogether less positive note for the Tigers, though, came in the form of Oscar Estupinan’s dismissal late in the first-half of action.
The top scorer at the MKM this season is therefore set to sit out in midweek owing to suspension.
All of this means that Hull sit just a point clear of the Championship’s bottom three, in possession of a league-worst -14 goal difference.
Despite the Tigers’ encouraging result last time out, we at 101 are therefore backing Cardiff to ultimately come away from the Welsh capital with all three points on Tuesday evening.
