Match preview: Hull City vs Nottingham Forest

Hull City’s poor season is petering out.

The Tigers were thrashed by Bristol City last Saturday.

Shota Arveladze’s side lost 5-0 at Ashton Gate as the Robins ran riot.

They have now lost two fo their last three matches having also lost to Millwall

Hull head into the final day of the season in 18th and are unable to climb any higher.

Nottingham Forest fall just short of automatic promotion

Nottingham Forest have fallen just short of automatic promotion despite what has been a remarkable turnaround.

Steve Cooper has done an outstanding job at Forest taking them from the bottom of the table to the play-offs.

When Cooper took charge, the Reds had just three points after eight matches.

Now, they will be part of the play-offs and just missed out on automatic promotion.

Forest were beaten 1-0 by Bournemouth on Tuesday in a massive clash between the two teams battling it out for 2nd place.

Kieffer Moore scored late on to break Forest hearts and secure the win for the hosts.
