Middlesbrough suffered a narrow defeat at home to Fulham during midweek.

The league leaders won 1-0 at the Riverside.

Aleksandar Mitrović finally broke the deadlock in the 74th minute and the hosts were unable to respond.

Boro remain outside the top six but are just two points behind Sheffield United and have a game in hand.

Hull City suffer back to back defeats

Hull City suffered a second defeat in a row during midweek.

The Tigers were beaten 1-0 at home by Huddersfield.

Shota Arveladze’s side were reduced to ten men with Tom Evans being sent off.

Huddersfield then eventually found a winner in the 79th minute through Harry Toffolo.

Hull have now dropped into 20th following the defeat.
