Match preview
Two sides in search of a return to winning ways are set to lock horns in a Championship clash at The Den on Saturday, November 5th.
The matchup in question will see Millwall play host to a Hull City outfit under the watch of a new head coach.
First, let’s take a look at the recent efforts of the former.
Millwall, prior to last weekend, had stood as one of the most in-form sides in England’s 2nd tier.
It therefore came as nothing short a shock when a trip to relegation-battling Huddersfield Town ultimately culminated in Gary Rowett’s troops being put to the sword by a goal to nil.
This, in turn, was followed by a stalemate at Birmingham during the week, leaving Millwall down in 9th ahead of the upcoming round of fixtures.

Safe to say, then, that a return to winning ways will be very much on the agenda for Saturday’s hosts at The Den.
Standing in their way, though, are a Hull City outfit with sights set on the famed ‘new manager bounce’.
Hull, of course, have endured an altogether disappointing campaign to date, slipping to defeat in ten of the club’s 18 fixtures, whilst conceding a frankly remarkable 35 goals along the way.
This leaves the Tigers sitting just a point clear of the bottom-three at present, in possession of a league-worst -14 goal difference.
In turn, it did not come as a major surprise, earlier this week, to hear of the powers that be at the MKM Stadium taking action.
Fresh off a 3-1 defeat at the hands of relegation rivals Middlesbrough, manager Andy Dawson was sent on his way, since replaced on the bench by ex-Hull star Liam Rosenior.
It now remains to be seen whether the decision has the desired effect, in guiding Saturday’s visitors away from the relegation scrap.
We at 101, though, do not see as much being kicked into gear this weekend, with Millwall remaining the favourites to ultimately emerge from The Den with all three points.
