Middlesbrough’s playoff push was dealt a blow by defeat against Sheffield United.

With both teams challenging for a playoff spot, the Blades win could prove crucial.

Boro were beaten 4-1 and now find themselves 8th in the table.

However, Chris Wilder’s side are still only two points off the top six.
