Match preview
Two sides nothing short of desperate for a positive result are set to lock horns in a Championship clash at Carrow Road on Saturday, October 29th.
The clash in question will see Norwich City play host to Stoke City.
Beginning with the former, Norwich, of course, have endured what can only be described as a nightmare spell of form over the course of the last couple of weeks.
After previously, as expected, establishing themselves amongst the frontrunners for promotion, the Canaries have since slipped off the pace in a major, major way.
This stretch includes a quartet of defeats, the latest of which came at the hands of table-topping Burnley in midweek, courtesy of a solitary Jay Rodriguez spot-kick.
Norwich, as a result, have tumbled to 7th in the Championship table, in the knowledge that another poor result could see them round head into the upcoming round of midweek fixtures sitting in the depths of mid-table.

Safe to say, then, that a return to winning ways is very much on the agenda for Saturday’s hosts at Carrow Road.
And, in truth, Norwich could not hope for a more favourable opponent to kick their pursuit of a three-point haul back into gear against.
This comes with Stoke City, too, having stumbled through the last couple of rounds of fixtures in England’s 2nd tier.
The Potters had actually appeared to be building some momentum earlier in the month, when altogether impressive back-to-back wins over Sheffield United and Preston North End guided Alex Neil and co. away from the relegation zone.
Since, however, they have fallen to successive defeats.
Failing to find the net against either, Saturday’s visitors were put to the sword by Rotherham United and Coventry City, both at the Bet365 Stadium.
Norwich, in turn, will no doubt fancy their chances of piling on Stoke’s miseries, courtesy of a first three-point haul since October 1st.
In truth, though, any fixture involving the Canaries looks a difficult one to predict at this moment in time.
Nevertheless, we at 101 are backing the hosts to finally put their long-standing struggles behind them at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon, courtesy of a hard-fought win.
