Norwich are the form team in the division with five wins on the bounce putting them second behind leaders Sheffield United. After a bit of a shaky start, the Canaries are showing why they were in the Premier League last season, with an unbeaten run stretching back to mid-August.
Dean Smith will be delighted with the turnaround and in particular with the form of young American forward Josh Sargent, who has finally found his feet in a Norwich shirt, scoring six already this season. The firepower of him and proven Championship goal machine Timo Pukki should be enough to earn promotion this year. Unsurprisingly the home side enter this one as heavy favourites, with bookies pricing a Norwich win at just 6/5.
Opponents West Brom on the other hand find themselves at the opposite end of the table, sitting 20th with just one win from their last five outings. Even that victory came nearly a month ago against Hull City, with three draws and a defeat at home to Birmingham last time out.
Steve Bruce will be desperate for a win against the club he made 141 league appearances for before earning his big move to Manchester United. The pressure is mounting on Bruce with many speculating he could be the next manager to get the sack and with an international break after this match, it could be do or die for the Albion boss this weekend. West Brom are priced as 21/10 outsiders to come away from Carrow Road with all three points.
