Our recommended bet for Wednesday’s clash at Deepdale comes in the form of a Luton Town victory and clean sheet, against Preston North End.

A £10 wager for such an outcome will secure you a return of £40 with Betway.

Match preview

Two sides in the midst of altogether contrasting spells of form are set to lock horns in a Championship clash at Deepdale on Wednesday, February 15th.

The matchup in question will see Preston North End act as hosts, in a meeting with Luton Town.

Beginning with the former, Preston have endured an altogether difficult time of things of late.

The Lilywhites, dating back to mid-December, have been condemned to defeat in seven of their last ten outings across all competitions.

It should therefore come as little surprise to hear of Preston tumbling down the standings in England’s 2nd tier.

Once viewed as contenders for a promotion playoff berth, the Lilywhites now find themselves in a lowly 14th.

Safe to say, then, that upcoming opponents Luton Town will have their sights set firmly on adding to the woes of Lowe and co. come the full-time whistle at Deepdale later this evening.

Luton, for their part, have enjoyed a far more productive time of things than Preston over recent weeks.

In fact, the Hatters currently stand as one of the Championship’s most in-form sides.

Dating back to December, Rob Edwards’ men have rattled off victories in six of their last eight league fixtures, as well as three of their last four.

An eventual stalemate at Coventry City last time out did therefore proved somewhat disappointing, but Luton will nevertheless head into Wednesday’s action at Deepdale with confidence brimming in the camp.

This comes with the Hatters in the knowledge that a swift return to winning ways could well see them close out the gameweek sitting pretty in 3rd in the table.

We at 101, in turn, are backing the evening’s visitors to ultimately manage precisely that, at the expense of a stuttering Preston outfit.
