Our recommended bet for Tuesday’s Madejski Stadium clash comes in the form of a Norwich win, featuring goals from both sides.

A £10 wager for such an outcome will secure you a return of £40 with Betway.

Match preview

Two sides in the thick of the early-season battle for promotion to the Premier League are set to do battle at the Madejski Stadium on Tuesday, October 4th.

This comes as high-flying Reading prepare to play host to a Norwich City outfit sitting a place and two points clear of them in the Championship table.

The former currently represent the closest challengers to the two favourites to secure a return to the top-flight, in the form of Sheffield United, and their upcoming opponents.

Reading, all told, have impressed to this point in the campaign’s early running, racking up wins in seven of their 11 fixtures thus far.

And yet, Paul Ince’s men are set to head into the latest round of midweek Championship action as underdogs.

Norwich are too in the midst of a predictably impressive start to the campaign in England’s 2nd tier.

The Canaries have too notched seven wins from eleven thus far, but, unlike their upcoming hosts, have fallen to defeat just twice.

Not only that, but Dean Smith’s troops boast a vastly superior goal difference, owing to a record of 17 goals scored, and nine just against.

Their hard-fought downing of Blackpool at the weekend, crafted by a Teemu Pukki fresh off eight direct goal contributions in seven appearances for club and country, too means that Norwich have emerged triumphant from six of their last seven attempts.

We at 101 therefore predict that Tuesday’s visitors to the Madejski will prove just too much for Ince’s Reading on the day.
