West Brom suffered their first defeat in five on the weekend as they lost to Midlands rivals Birmingham.

Lyle Taylor scored the only goal of the game to win it for the hosts.

Steve Bruce’s side now 12th in the table and are 8 points off the top six.

A late push for the playoffs is now starting to look unlikely.

AFC Bournemouth see off Bristol City

Bournemouth have got their push for an automatic promotion spot back on track having gone five games unbeaten.

The Cherries have won three of their last five having beaten Bristol City on the weekend.

Scott Parker’s side won 3-2 to secure three crucial points.

The South Coast club are now six points above third and have three games in hand over Huddersfield.
