Stade Rennes are likely to present Leicester with a tricky challenge on Thursday.

The French side finished above Spurs in the group stages and are currently 4th in Ligue 1.

However, the Foxes should just about have enough quality, especially at home, to get the win on Thursday.

Match preview: Leicester City vs Stade Rennes

Leicester City claimed back to back wins in the league last week.

The Foxes defeated Burnley away before also beating Leeds.

However, their recent poor form means they are only 12th in the table.

Brendan Rodgers’ side reached the Round of 16 in the competition after thrashing Randers FC over two legs.

Leicester defeated the Danish side 7-1 on aggregate.

Stade Rennes top Group G

Stade Rennes topped Group G as they finished above Vittese and Tottenham Hotspur.

The French club are currently enjoying a strong run of form which has seen them win four of their last five matches.

Bruno Génésio’s side were only just beaten 1-0 by PSG a few weeks ago.

Their recent strong form has seen them climb into 4th place in Ligue 1.
