Will Feyenoord continue their hopes of making yet more history?
In 1970, they became the first Dutch club to lift the European Cup, before repeating this feat in the UEFA Cup four years later.
Now, Feyenoord are looking to become the first-ever winners of the new UEFA Europa Conference League.
Arne Slot’s side began this adventure way back in the second qualifying round, scoring a total of 15 goals in wins over Drita, Luzern and Elfsborg.
They then topped Group E unbeaten, accumulating 14 points against Slavia Praha, Union Berlin and Maccabi Haifa.
So, the Dutch giants have reached a knockout phase for the first time since 2015, last winning a knockout tie 20 years ago when they won the UEFA Cup.
Domestically, they’re currently third in the Eredivisie, having only drawn with Groningen on Saturday and lost to AZ the week before.
Now, will Feyenoord continue a European campaign that began way back in mid-July?
As for Partizan Belgrade, this is their first appearance in the last 16 of a UEFA competition since 2005, last appearing in a quarter-final in 1990.
This year, just like Feyenoord, they began in the second qualifying round, overcoming DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda, Sochi and then Santa Clara.
Aleksandar Stanojević’s side then won their first two group games and, despite not winning the next four, finish above Anorthosis Famagusta and Flora.
This saw Partizan face Sparta Prague in the first knockout round, where they impressively won 1-0 away and then 2-1 at home.
Queensy Menig with the winner in the Czech capital before Ricardo Gomes’ brace at home saw them ease through.
In the Serbian SuperLiga, Partizan are currently two points above fierce rivals Crvena zvezda, aiming to win just their third title in nine seasons.
It seems likely that, if Partizan are to win this tie, they’ll need to make this first leg at home count.

Ricardo Gomes had a rather eventful second leg against Sparta Praha, scoring two goals but then receiving two yellow cards.
So their star man, who’s scored 27 goals in 39 appearances this season, will have to sit out this first leg.
Three players, Lazar Marković, goalkeeper Aleksandar Popović and Igor Vujačić would miss the return tie in Rotterdam if shown a yellow card here.
In the absence of Gomes, Samed Baždar or Marko Milovanović will come in to lead the line.
Bebras Natcho is their key player in midfield; the 34 year old has made 129 appearances in UEFA club competitions for five different clubs.

Feyenoord are also without their top-scorer Guus Til, who’s netted 19 times this season, including six in the Europa Conference League.
This is a major blow with fellow wide-player Patrik Wålemark also serving a one-match ban.
Elsewhere, defenders Philippe Sandler and Denzel Hall are injured, while U.S. international Cole Bassett hasn’t been included in the UEFA squad.
With Til out, Reiss Nelson could come into the side, completing an attack that also features Luis Sinisterra, Bryan Linssen and Alireza Jahanbakhsh.
21 year old Turkey international Orkun Kökçü will also be key, playing deeper in midfield.
