Leverkusen were beaten 1-0 by FC Köln and lost further ground on Borussia Dortmund.

Gerardo Seoane’s team are still 3rd but the race for Champions League qualification is really starting to heat up.

The German club suffered a 3-2 defeat in Bergamo vs Atalanta last week and have plenty of work to do in the second-leg.

Atalanta drop points Genoa

Atalanta dropped more points against Genoa on the weekend.

Following their defeat against Roma, their push for Europe was dealt another blow as they were held to a 1-1 draw with 19th place Genoa.

The Bergamo remained 6th in Serie A but are just a point off the Europa League spot.

They now travel to Germany looking to defend their 3-2 lead in the tie.
