A pivotal fixture with ramifications towards both ends of the La Liga table.
Cádiz looked like certainties for relegation not so long ago, but their new found form means they kick off just above the relegation zone.
So, Sergio’s side have now only lost one of their last seven fixtures, only suffering a narrow 2-1 defeat at Atlético Madrid in this period.
This leaves Cádiz 17th, just two points clear of RCD Mallorca in the relegation zone.
Given that they still have to play Barcelona, Athletic Club, Sevilla, Real Sociedad and Real Madrid after this, every point will be valuable.
Real Betis meanwhile are chasing down a Champions League spot.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side hammered Osasuna 4-1 last Sunday with Juanmi bagging a brace before William Carvalho and Álex Moreno got in on the act.
This leaves los Verdiblancos fifth in the table, just four points behind bitter rivals Sevilla who themselves are not in good form at all.
Béticos also have the Copa del Rey Final on 23 April to look forward to; they’ll take on Valencia at Estadio de La Cartuja.
Before then, Betis want to stay on track for a first top four finish since 2005, the year they last won the Copa.
Who will claim three vital points at Estadio Ramón de Carranza?

José Mari’s late red card last weekend means he is suspended.
This won’t make too much difference though as Rubén Alcaraz and Fede San Emeterio are the first-choice midfielders anyway.
Up front, it’ll continue to be Álvaro Negredo and one other.
Lucas Pérez got the nod last weekend but Rubén Sobrino or Choco Lozano, more likely the latter, could return here.

For the first time in 2022, Real Betis have had a whole week to prepare for a match, following their Europa League elimination by Frankfurt.
So Manuel Pellegrini, who’s been heavily rotating for three months, has no reason to change a winning team.
Borja Iglesias missed last weekend’s win but Willian José is the usual choice up front either-way.
Juanmi remains the main goal threat though, scoring his 17th and then 18th goals of the season against Osasuna.
Claudio Bravo remains the first-choice goalkeeper, chosen over Rui Silva or Joel.
