Will it be a memorable end to the season for Valencia?
If Valencia do win their second Copa in four seasons, they’ll qualify for the Europa League group stages, regardless of league position.
This might be just as well because José Bordalás’ team are ninth, five points below the European positions.
Of course, that gap is far from unassailable and los Murciélagos are currently in good form.
Gonçalo Guedes got the only goal in a 1-0 victory at Elche before the international window, meaning Valencia have taken ten points from the last 12 available.
Will their fine form continue?
Cádiz meanwhile are in desperate need of points if they’re to secure a third successive Primera División season for the first time since the early ’90s.
El Submarino Amarillo claimed a vital victory in their last game, beating Villarreal 1-0 thanks to Rubén Sobrino’s stoppage time winner.
This win means Sergio’s side have only lost one of their last six and have won back-to-back home matches, also beating Rayo Vallecano.
So, Cádiz start the weekend just one place and one point above the relegation zone but could kick off in it, depending on Mallorca’s result on Saturday.
Will Cádiz claim a vital victory at Mestalla?

Los Che are still very short of left-backs with José Luis Gayà and Toni Lato injured, meaning 19 year old Jesús Vázquez is likely to keep his place.
In goal, Jasper Cillessen is a long-term absentee with Giorgi Mamardashvili continuing to deputise, chosen over Jaume Doménech.
Yunus Musah started all three of USA’s World Cup qualifiers last week but is likely to continue in Valencia’s midfield, despite potential fatigue.

The visitors are without centre-back Varazdat Haroyan who’s injured so Luis Hernández could continue alongside Víctor Chust.
Álvaro Negredo, who scored 18 goals for Valencia, will lead the line with Choco Lozano his usual partner.
Another former los Che striker Rubén Sobrino could remain a substitute, despite scoring the winner a fortnight ago.
