After narrowly missing out on a place in this season’s Champions League Final, Villarreal need to make sure they’re back in Europe next season.
On Tuesday night, el Submarino Amarillo welcomed Liverpool to Eastern Spain for their semi-final second leg, 2-0 down after their visit to Anfield.
However, that deficit was whipped out by half time with Boulaye Dia netting at the start of the half and Francis Coquelin heading home towards the end of it.
Now though, Unai Emery’s team must refocus on La Liga as they bid to ensure they’re in some sort of UEFA competition next season.
Having lost 2-0 at Alavés last Sunday, Villarreal are currently seventh, which would see them enter the Europa Conference League play-off round.
However, they now have Athletic Club Bilbao breathing down their necks, just one point behind, meaning Villarreal certainly need points.
As do Sevilla who, despite being in the title race for long periods of the season, are somewhat clinging onto their current top four spot.
Julen Lopetegui’s side could only draw 1-1 with Cádiz last weekend, despite taking a seventh minute lead through Youssef En-Nesyri.
Los Nervionenses have now only won four of their last 14 matches although, admittedly, eight of those have finished all square.
As a result, Sevilla start the weekend third, two points above Atlético Madrid and six clear of city-rivals Real Betis.
This one is tough to call, so will there be a winner at Estadio de la Cerámica?

Arnaut Danjuma missed the midweek meetings with Liverpool due to injury, but last season’s top-scorer Gerard Moreno did start so could do so again here.
Étienne Capoue was sent off late in that game, but this will only incur a ban in UEFA competition.
Pervis Estupiñán will continue to deputise for the stricken Alberto Moreno at left-back.

Youssef En-Nesyri opened against Cádiz last weekend was his first Sevilla goal since 25 September, despite being the centre-forward.
He could continue to lead the line, chosen over Rafa Mir; Anthony Martial is currently injured.
Lucas Ocampos, Papu Gómez and Érik Lamela were chosen to b the attacking trio with Munir El Haddadi and Tecatito Corona only on the bench.
