Graham Potter remains favourite to make an immediate return to management with the vacant Leicester job, after he and Brendan Rodgers left their roles on Sunday.

Potter left his role at Chelsea after a difficult spell in charge having taken over from Thomas Tuchel earlier in the season, but is still well regarded in the game and was immediately linked with the Leicester job, which was made vacant hours before his own departure with Rodgers leaving after four years in charge.
Rodgers had been at the Foxes since 2019 and led them to successive fifth-placed finishes as well as the FA Cup, but was unable to reverse a slide into the bottom three this season and was subsequently dismissed from the top role, sparking speculation that Potter could be an immediate replacement.
Martin O’Neill is a shock candidate to take temporary charge and try to avoid relegation, while Rafa Benitez is also thought to be in the running.
