The Millers head into the game top of League One and with a six-point lead over Wigan.

The Latics do have a game in hand over Rotherham, however, a win for Paul Warne’s side could be decisive.

Rotherham are currently on a run of six straight wins in the league.

Over the weekend, they produced a big win at Hillsborough as they defeated Sheffield Wednesday 2-0.

Wigan back in form

Wigan ended a run of three matches without a win with two victories on the bounce.

Leam Richardson’s side have managed to defeat both Crewe and Charlton in their last two outings.

However, both those sides have been struggling as of late and recent stronger tests for the Latics have caught them out.

Although a win on Friday could help Wigan to get their title charge firmly back on track.
