Carlisle United will be eyeing up the top three in 2023 after a fantastic run of form in December saw them move up into fourth ahead of trip to the Eco-Power Stadium where Doncaster Rovers have moved into the top half of the table.

A 2-1 loss to Northampton Town does put them on just a two-game winning run, while that loss was also a stark reminder at how tough it could be to get into the top three in the remainder of this season.
