Gillingham’s dreadful season is becoming more than desperate ahead of a trip to Gander Green Lane to meet with a Sutton United team aiming to get into the top half of the League Two table.
Gillingham have now moved to the bottom of the table after a loss to fellow strugglers, Colchester United.
The club are sitting in last place with just six goals from 21 games, which is the worst record in League Two history. They have lost 11 games and drawn eight times with just two wins on the board.
Gillingham are now behind Colchester by three points and things are beginning to look hopeless. In fact, their only hopes of getting fans back on side is in the FA Cup third round clash against Leicester City in two weeks.
Sutton managed to beat Crawley Town last time out in a 2-1 victory away from home, as Joseph Mohamed Kizi scored another goal before Robert Milsom netted a too.
