Monaco are looking to get their Champions League pursuit back on track with the club down into fourth after three winless games with the club heading on the road to meet with 18th-placed Ajaccio.
Ajaccio could find themselves out of the bottom four this weekend, but they will need to win here and hope of a positive result between 16th-placed Brest and 19th-placed Troyes.
The home side here have lost their past two games since beating Troyes, as they’ve gone on to lose to Reims and Montpellier 1-0 in each game. Nevertheless, with six wins on the board being the most in the bottom seven, they will still have some hopes of survival.
On the other hand, with just 20 goals scored, they are the lowest scorers in Ligue 1 and their 18 defeats is the second-most in the division too.
As for Monaco, they’ve lost 3-0 to Nice, drawn 2-2 with Troyes and lost at home 1-0 to Reims last weekend to crash them from third into fourth.
Combine this with their Europa League exit against Bayer Leverkusen and it means four games without a win for them.
