Montpellier vs Reims preview

Reims are looking to keep up their winning form with a routine win over Clermont Foot last weekend as Montpellier also aim to keep up their sensational goalscoring start to the season with another victory.

Montpellier ran riot at the Groupama Stadium last time out, as Arnaud Nordin netted after just two minutes before Musa Al-Taamari bagged a brace alongside a late goal from Akor Adams.

It was the biggest win over Lyon this century for the club, and this also comes off the back of Montpellier drawing 2-2 with Le Havre on the opening weekend.

Adams was once again the hero that day with a brace in the second half, although fans left their home ground disappointed having let in a goal in the 90th minute to drop two points.

As for Reims, they lost to Marseille on the opening weekend on the road where Junya Ito netted once more in the first half.

A 2-0 win over Clermont would come soo after with a goal in the first half from Marshall Munetsi and a finish in the second 45 from Mohamed Daramy.
