Match preview

Two of France’s top goalscorers go head-to-head this weekend as Folarin Balogun and his Reims side meet with Terem Moffi and Nice at the Stade Auguste Delaune where there are just four points between the two sides.

Terem Moffi has not scored in a number of weeks and all 12 of this goals so far have come with Lorient. The striker stunned Ligue 1 when he switched for Nice in loan, but he is yet to look like scoring with them so far.

Balogun sits top of the charts in the Ligue 1 goalscorer race, as his 15 goals keep him two clear of Kylian Mbappe, three above Neymar and one above Alexandre Lacazette and Jonathan David.

The stunning form of Balogun for Reims has guided them into the top half of the table now, although they do sit four behind the seventh-placed Nice and have won three fewer games.

Last time out, Reims dismantled Troyes where Balogun scored again, as Jens Cajuste, Myziane Maolida and Marshall Munetsi all netted a goal each.

Nice smashed Ajaccio 3-0 last Friday night, as Dante got the ball rolling with a third-minute finish, as Billal Brahimi scored a second half brace in a convincing win for Didier Digard’s men.
