Back in North Carolina, can Charlotte FC get back to winning ways?
Last weekend, CLTFC were beaten 2-1 at Exploria Stadium by Orlando City, with Christian Fuchs’ penalty, Charlotte’s first-ever spot-kick, mere consolation.
But, Queen City have won their last three games on home turf, beating New England Revolution, FC Cincinnati and local rivals Atlanta United.
So, will Charlotte claim a fourth successive victory in front of their own fans?
Inter Miami meanwhile had, belatedly, found some form, before slumping to a miserable 2-0 defeat at the hands of New England.
Defenders Damion Lowe and then Jairo Quinteros both sent off to compound a night to forget in Foxborough.
Before this though, Phil Neville’s side had won four consecutive matches in all competitions, three of which came in MLS.
Nevertheless, the Herons are back down to 12th, below their expansion club hosts on goal difference.
Will Bank of America Stadium prove to be a fortress once again?
