Can FC Cincinnati continue their improved form?
The Orange and Blue have faced Toronto FC not once but twice this week and it could hardly have gone any better for them.
Then, in Wednesday night’s rematch, Calvin Harris opened the scoring after just two minutes, before Acosta’s second half penalty secured a 2-0 win.
That victory means, amazingly, four of Cincinnati’s last six MLS victories have come against TFC.
The Orange and Blue won just four games in 2021 but Pat Noonan’s side have reached that mark already, so sit 11th in the Eastern Conference.
Over in the west, Minnesota United are proving to be hard to beat this season, so currently occupy a play-off spot.
Last weekend, the Loons held out for so long, but were eventually beaten 2-0 by LAFC at Banc of California Stadium, conceding twice late on.
Before this, Adrian Heath’s side had won four of their previous six outings with ten of their 14 points so far being won at home.
Will Minnesota United claim three more points in this clash at Allianz Field?
