Match preview

Will league-leaders Arsenal continue their 100% start to the campaign?

Last Saturday, the Gunners swatted aside Bournemouth 3-0 at Dean Court.

Captain Martin Ødegaard bagging a quick-fire early brace and then, just after the interval, William Saliba curled home stunning first goal for the club.

This means Mikel Arteta’s team have maximum points on the board, following victories over Crystal Palace and Leicester City.

So, this is the first time Arsenal have began a season with three successive victories since 2004/05, when their unprecedented 49-game unbeaten streak was still ongoing.

Will the feel-good factor in North London continue?

Although, Marco Silva’s team too have made an impressive start to the campaign and are also currently unbeaten.

Last weekend, the Cottagers won a five-goal thriller, beating West London rivals Brentford 3-2.

Bobby Decordova-Reid and then João Palhinha had the hosts 2-0 up at Craven Cottage, before a last-minute towering header from Aleksandar Mitrović snatched the victory.

This means the Championship champions are on five points, following respectable draws with Liverpool at home and then Wolves at Molineux.

But then, on Tuesday night, a much-changed Fulham side were dumped out the Carabao Cup by League Two Crawley Town, losing 2-0 at Broadfield Stadium.

So, remarkably, Fulham are the only Premier League club not to reach round three, but they won’t care about that one jot should they preserve their top-flight status in May.

Here, can the visitors burst Arsenal’s bubble?
