Just a fortnight after the reverse meeting at Molineux, Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers go head-to-head again.
However, Wolves were give a perfect route back into the game when, with 20 minutes to play, Gabriel Martinelli was sent off for two yellow cards in seven seconds.
However, the hosts created very little, Marçal coming closest by Aaron Ramsdale into an impressive save, as Arsenal held on for a vital 1-0 victory.
Will this one go the same way?
Since then, Mikel Arteta’s side have only been in action once, beating Brentford 2-1 on Saturday in a game that was far more one-sided than that would suggest.
Emile Smite Rowe broke the deadlock just after half time with Bukayo Saka making it two later on; the Bees’ goal came deep into stoppage time.
So, overall, Arsenal have won six of their last eight Premier League games and sit sixth, four points behind Manchester United with three games in hand.
Wolves though are just one place and two points further back, so are very much in the Champions League conversation themselves.
On Sunday, Bruno Lage’s men beat Leicester 2-1 at home with Rúben Neves and Daniel Podence both scoring from outside the area.
This means they’ve now won six of their last eight league fixtures, only losing to Arsenal in this time-frame.
Having won 2-0 at Tottenham 11 days ago, Wolves are now looking to win five successive Premier League away games for the very first time.
They did actually win 2-1 at the Emirates last season but haven’t won consecutive visits to Arsenal since 1979.
Who will win this pivotal Thursday night clash in North London?
Arsenal team news

Given Arsenal’s very thin squad, Mikel Arteta doesn’t have much scope for changing his XI.
Good news is that Takehiro Tomiyasu was on the bench at the weekend so could return at right-back in place of Cédric.
The only other change could see Gabriel Martinelli return after his one-match but, although it’s unclear who he’d come in for.
Unless the Brazilian leads the line, Alexandre Lacazette will continue to get the nod over Eddie Nketiah in attack.
Emile Smith Rowe though is the top scorer, bagging his ninth league goal of the season at the weekend.
Only once before in the Premier League has an Arsenal player, aged 21 or younger, reached double figures and that was Nicolas Anelka in 1998/99.
Wolverhampton Wanderers team news

Bruno Lage meanwhile, for the first time since arriving at Wolves, has a fully-fit squad.
This is largely due to Pedro Neto’s long-term knee injury, but he came off the bench for his first appearance since April on Sunday.
Wolves went 3-5-2 against Leicester and are likely to do the same here.
This sees Leander Dendoncker join Rúben Neves and João Moutinho as a midfield trio.
Daniel Podence will once again partner Raúl Jiménez in attack but they do have options.
Francisco Trincão started the reverse fixture a fortnight ago while Hee-chan Hwang, like the aforementioned Neto, is back after injury.
