Will this game be another comfortable victory for Manchester City?

Probably yes.

On Wednesday night, the Sky Blues demolished newly-promoted Nottingham Forest 6-0 at the Etihad.

Erling Braut Håland with a first half hat-trick, he’s now got nine in five Premier League appearances, with João Cancelo adding a fourth, before Julián Álvarez bagged a late brace.

Håland also bagged a treble in last Saturday’s comeback victory over Crystal Palace.

The Norwegian is just the sixth player to achieve a three-goal haul in back-to-back Premier League games, after Les Ferdinand, Ian Wright, Didier Drogba, Wayne Rooney and Harry Kane.

That surely won’t last long though, with the Citizens set to leap above Arsenal ahead of their trip to Manchester United.

So, can Aston Villa become the first side to beat the champions since 19 February?

The Villans are not in a good way just now, beaten again in mid-week, this time by the aforementioned league-leaders.

Douglas Luiz equalising directly from a corner at Arsenal on Wednesday, the second time he’s done this in a week.

However, the Gunners then snatched the winner less than three minutes later, leaving Steven Gerrard fuming.

More pertinently, that defeat leaves Aston Villa in the relegation zone, having lost four of their five matches this season.

Also, Manchester City have won 12 of their last 13 meetings with Villa, scoring 37 goals, the other game being a goalless draw in 2015.

So, if an away win can ever be a certainty in the Premier League, this is surely it.
