Match preview: Burnley vs Aston Villa

Burnley’s incredible big for survival continued on the weekend as they secured another win.

The Clarets defeated relegation rivals, Watford, away at Vicarage Road.

Mike Jackson’s men have now collected 10 points from 12 since the departure of Sean Dyche.

Their remarkable form has seen them climb into 16th and two points clear of Everton.

Although Leeds United have now also been dragged back into the fight for survival.

Aston Villa secure first win in six

Aston Villa won for the first time in six matches on Saturday as they defeated Norwich City.

Steven Gerrard’s side relegated the Canaries by winning 2-0 at Villa Park.

Ollie Watkins and Danny Ings netted for the hosts to secure the three points.

The win lifts the Villians back up into 13th place and they are now three points off the top half.

They also have two games in hand over 10th place Newcastle United.
