Newcastle United beaten 1-0 by Liverpool
Newcastle United suffered defeat at home to Liverpool last Saturday.
The Reds won 1-0 at St James’ Park with Naby Keita scoring the only goal.
The defeat ended a run of four straight wins.
Eddie Howe’s side are continuing to push for a top-half finish.
However, they have dropped all the way down to 13th with results elsewhere going against them.
Brighton, Crystal Palace, Brentford and Aston Villa all won on Saturday to move above them.
