Will Newcastle’s positive end to the season continue?
Bruno Guimarães poked home an equaliser on the stroke of half time, before scoring a diving-header in the 95th minute, thereby snatching victory.
A diving-header in the last minute, at the Gallowgate End, was straight out of the Hollywood playbook from the Brazilian.
Then, on Wednesday, they won again with Miguel Almirón’s first half strike downing Crystal Palace on Tyneside.
This all means Eddie Howe’s side have won six successive home games, with Newcastle last achieving this in 2004 under Sir Bobby Robson.
So, the Toon Army are now up to 11th, despite being in the relegation zone as recently as Christmas Day.
Next, the Magpies will be looking to improve on their away form; ten of the 13 points they’ve picked up on the road came from four games earlier this year.
Can Newcastle make it four consecutive Premier League victories for the first time since April 2018?
Norwich City meanwhile are running out of time if they’re to pull off a great escape.
Last weekend, the Canaries came from 2-0 down at Old Trafford, Kieran Dowell and Teemu Pukki scoring, but they were still eventually beaten 3-2 by Man United.
A week earlier, Dean Smith’s side had beaten Burnley 2-0, their first win in nine, but remain bottom, eight points from safety.
In this one, the Yellows are looking to win back-to-back top-flight home games within the same season for the first time since January 2016.
Will Norwich keep alive their fading hopes of survival, or will Newcastle’s momentum take them to another three points?

With Ozan Kabak out long-term, Ben Gibson and Grant Hanley are very much the first-choice centre-backs.
Over at right-back, Sam Byram will start for the fourth game running having won that position off Max Aarons.
Goalkeeper Tim Kurl make 185 appearances for Newcastle and has never lost in three games against them.
At the other end of the pitch, Kieran Dowell’s goal at Old Trafford should see him keep his place over Przemysław Płacheta.
Teemu Pukki scored in the reverse fixture and bagged a hat-trick when Newcastle last visited Carrow Road in August 2019.

It took a while for Bruno Guimarães to earn his place in the Newcastle team but he’ll make his seventh start for the club here.
Fellow Brazilian Joelinton and Jonjo Shelvey, who’s defiantly not Brazilian, will be alongside with Joe Willock missing out.
Miguel Almirón came in for the injured Ryan Fraser on Wednesday night and scored the winner against Crystal Palace.
So, the Paraguayan and Allan Saint-Maximin will continue to flank Chris Wood who’s deputising for the injury Callum Wilson.
The New Zealander has scored six times in his last seven appearances against Norwich.
