Can Manchester City bounce back from their latest poor showing?

The defending champions were outclassed again by Liverpool at the weekend and now face another tricky-looking assignment on the road at Tottenham.

Any thoughts of a fifth Premier League in a row have long since gone but despite their woeful run of results City are still fourth in the table and need points to stay in the hunt for Champions League football.

Spurs have already beaten City twice this season and come into this game on the back of three league wins in a row. What crisis?

Tottenham v Manchester City team news

Tottenham have had more than their fair share of injuries this season but the gloom is starting to lift for Ange Postecoglou.

Ben Davies, Radu Dragusin (knee), Micky van de Ven (hamstring) and Cristian Romero (thigh) are all still out so Kevin Danso and Archie Gray will continue in the heart of the Spurs defence.

Dominic Solanke is still out but Timo Werner is available once more.

City’s hopes may rest largely on the shoulders of Erling Haaland who has missed the past two matches and remains a doubt.

Predicted line-ups

Totenham: Vicario; Spence, Gray, Danso, Udogie; Kulusevski, Bentancur, Maddison; Johnson, Tel, Son

Man City: Ederson, Lewis, Khusanov, Ake, Gvardiol; Gonzalez; Savinho, De Bruyne, Foden, Doku; Marmoush
