The Jim Goodwin era at Aberdeen is over, after a sequence of three horrendous results.
The Dons were demolished 5-0 at Tynecastle a fortnight ago, before being dumped out of the Scottish Cup by sixth-tier Darvel.
It was then curtains for Goodwin on Saturday as his team were dismantled at Easter Road, eventually beaten 6-0 by Hibs.
Only twice before had the Dons conceded 6+ in a game, with two of their five heaviest defeats of all-time coming in the last 14 days.
Barry Robson is now in interim charge, with the Reds seeking to climb back into the top half of the table.
The club one place and one point above Aberdeen are St Mirren, the side Goodwin left for the Granite City 12 months ago.
This means Stephen Robinson’s team are unbeaten in 12 home fixtures, dating back to July.
On the road though, St Mirren haven’t won since August, losing their last two away games, beaten by Hearts and Celtic.
Thus, this clash at Pittodrie is tough to call.
