Aberdeen have won 13 of their last 14 meetings with Dundee, but did lose to them for the first time since 2014 when they visited Dens back in October.

Under 2.5 goals is 4/9.

Aberdeen to win and both teams to score NO is 11/5.

Christian Ramirez is 5/1 to break the deadlock and 2/1 to add to his 15 goals this season.

Match preview

Can Dundee claim three invaluable points as they bid to stay in the Scottish Premiership?

Last time out, despite taking a shock lead through Christie Elliott, the Dark Blues were beaten 2-1 by Rangers, conceding just four minutes from time.

This leaves the Dee rock bottom of the table, four points below St Johnstone and 12 points from safety.

Their best bet now of staying up is pipping the Saints to 11th and then chancing their arm in the play-offs, but they need wins to even achieve that.

Aberdeen meanwhile, much to the surprise of many, currently occupy the final safety position, but haven’t give up hope of gatecrashing the top six.

The Dons kept alive those top half hopes by beating Hibernian 3-1 at fortnight ago at Pittodrie.

A pair of Lewis Ferguson penalties had them in front before the win was secured by Vicente Besuijen, pouncing on some slack defending.

This was Jim Goodwin’s first win as Aberdeen manager and their first Premiership win at all since beating Dundee on Boxing Day.

Despite being tenth, the Dons are just two points off sixth, needing to win here and then beat Ross County next week to have any realistic chance.

This is a crucial game for both so who will win at Dens Park?

Dundee team news

Charlie Adam remains injured and Paul McGowan hobbled off against Rangers.

If neither are fit, Finlay Robertson could come into midfield alongside Shaun Byrne.

Zak Rudden could continue to lead the line with Paul McMullan in support.

Aberdeen team news

Pittodrie Stadium

Scott Brown departed Aberdeen in recent weeks so Lewis Ferguson and Ross McCrorie could continue to be joined by 19 Connor Barron in midfield.

Vicente Besuijen’s goal against Hibs will see him keep his place, looking to supply top-scorer Christian Ramirez.
