A huge game in the race for European football between the sides currently fourth and fifth in the table.
Of the two, Dundee United are one place and and two points better off as they seek to qualify for UEFA competition for the first time since 2012.
A fortnight ago, the Tangerines came from a goal down to win 2-1 at St Mirren with Dylan Levitt equalising before Marc McNulty snatched a 96th minute winner.
Hibernian though will be looking to leapfrog their visitors with a victory.
The Hibees come into this one winless in four games, losing 3-1 at Aberdeen last time out having endured three successive goalless draws before this.
This has seen Shaun Maloney’s men slip out of the guaranteed Europa Conference League places and are in danger of dropping into the bottom half.
Who will claim a vital victory at Easter Road?

Ryan Porteous was sent off at Pittodrie a fortnight ago and, after Hibs’ unsuccessful appealed, he’s now suspended for four Premiership games.
Thankfully, he will be available for the Edinburgh Derby cup semi-final, but that isn’t much help here.
Without him, Paul Hanlon will come in at centre-back alongside Rocky Bushiri.
In goal, Matt Macey remains out so Kevin Dabrowski will continue in goal.
At the other end of the pitch, goals will continue to be a problem with Martin Boyle having departed and Kevin Nisbet out for the season.
Elias Hoff Melkersen could lead the line, after his recent Scottish Cup brace at Motherwell, chosen over Christian Doidge.

The good news for Dundee United is that Tony Watt is fit again, making his return in Paisley before the international break.
Marc McNulty, was bagged a dramatic last-gasp winner in that one, will continue as his partner with Nicky Clark missing out.
At the back, Charlie Mulgrew and captain Ryan Edwards remain a very sold centre-back partnership.
