Will Hibernian’s generally excellent form continue?
Last time out, Hibs were beaten 3-1 at Celtic Park, but did give the league-leaders a scare, taking the lead through Josh Campbell’s penalty, even after Élie Youan had been sent off.
That’s now back-to-back defeats for Lee Johnson’s side, the other coming against Rangers, but, before that, they were undefeated in seven, winning five of these matches.
This has propelled Hibs up to fifth place, one point below Aberdeen and five adrift of Hearts in the race for Europe.
Motherwell meanwhile have seen their fortunes exponentially improve under Stuart Kettlewell.
The Steelmen accumulated ten points from Kettlewell’s first four games at the helm, as many points as their previous 16 fixtures had yielded.
Hibs have won both previous meetings with Motherwell this season, 1-0 in October and then 3-2 at Fir Park in January.
This clash is likely to go the same way.
