Match preview
Having suffered back-to-back defeats for the first time since October, it’s vitally important that Heart of Midlothian get back on track.
First, Robbie Neilson’s side were beaten 3-1 at Celtic Park, taking the lead through Josh Ginnelly before simply finding the league-leaders too hot to handle.
Then, far more damagingly, Hearts were smashed 3-0 by Aberdeen at Pittodrie a fortnight ago, conceding all the goals in the first half an hour.
Despite this, the Jambos do remain third, but the Dons are now just four points behind, with Hibs only one point further back.
As for Kilmarnock, they kick off in tenth place, one place and one point above the relegation play-out spot.
Derek McInnes’ side drew 1-1 with St Johnstone before the international break, Joe Wright on target, but this means they’re now winless in five league games.
Which way will this one go at Rugby Park?
