Will Rangers’ winning Premiership run continue?

Despite claiming victory in 12 of 13 league games under Mick Beale, the Gers remain nine points below league-leaders Celtic, very much facing an uphill battle to regain the title.

Last time out, the Light Blues put in a very impressive display, coming from behind to beat Hibs at Easter Road.

James Tavernier equalising from the penalty spot, before Antonio Čolak bagged a brace with Fashion Sakala also on target.

Then, last Sunday, Rangers booked their place in the Scottish Cup semi-finals, swatting aside Raith Rovers at Ibrox, with Connor Goldson and Scott Arfield on target.

They’ll take on Celtic at the end of next month at Hampden for a place in the final.

Motherwell meanwhile kick off in ninth place, six points clear of the two teams directly below them.

That’s because Stuart Kettlewell has made an instant impact, accumulating ten points from four games since taking over as manager.

The Steelmen have recorded wins over St Mirren, Hearts and Ross County since the change at the helm, with Kevin van Veen bagging a brace in the Highlands a fortnight ago.

So, Motherwell are edging closer to a 39th successive season of top division football.

Will their improved form help the Well cause a big upset against Rangers?
