Celtic are the champions, so will they further emphasise their dominance with a victory in this the sixth, and last, Old Firm derby of the season?

Last weekend, the Hoops clinched a 53rd league title by beating Hearts 2-0 at Tynecastle, thanks to second half goals from Kyōgo Furuhashi and then Oh Hyeon-gyu.

Ange Postecoglou’s team remain 13 points clear at the top of the table, having won 31 of 34 league matches so far, losing just once.

In fact, having already beaten Rangers in the League Cup Final, the Bhoys are on course for a fifth treble in eight seasons.

They’ll take on Inverness Caledonian Thistle in next month’s Scottish Cup Final and, given that the Highlanders came sixth in the Championship, there’s likely to be only one outcome.

So far this season, the Hoops have won four of the five Glasgow derbies, two at Parkhead and two at Hampden, with the exception being a 2-2 draw at Ibrox in January.

As for Rangers, this season will end trophyless, so all they salvage is to make sure it doesn’t end without a victory in an Old Firm.

Since Michael Beale’s appointment in November, the Light Blues have won 20 of 25 matches, but three of his four defeats have come in derby games.

Last weekend, an experimental Gers team narrowly beat Aberdeen 1-0, with Todd Cantwell the only scorer.

Beale will continue to use their remaining fixtures to determine which players he wants to be part of his plans going forward, and who will be moved on over the summer.

Will Celtic claim a fourth successive victory over Rangers, or can the Light Blues restore some semblance of pride at Ibrox?

It’ll be fascinating to see who Michael Beale picks for this one; will the out of contract duo Ryan Kent or Alfredo Morelos feature?

Robby McCrorie was given a rare start in goal last weekend, but Allan McGregor is set to return for, what will surely be, his 43rd and final Old Firm appearance.

Elsewhere, Borna Barišić will displace Rıdvan Yılmaz at left-back, while Ianis Hagi started a Premiership game last Sunday for the first time in 16 months following knee surgery.

Steven Davis, Malik Tillman, Tom Lawrence and Antonio Čolak all remain sidelined.

In his absence, January signing Yūki Kobayashi will partner Carl Starfelt at the back, starting for just the fifth time.

Over at right-back, Alistair Johnston also sustained an injury in the most-recent derby, meaning Anthony Ralston will continue to deputise.

In attack, Jota has scored four in his last six appearances against Rangers, while Kyōgo Furuhashi has netted five times in four Old Firms this calendar year.

Predicted XI (4-3-3): Hart; Ralston, Kobayashi, Starfelt, Taylor; McGregor, O’Riley, Hatate; Jota, Maeda, Kyōgo.
