Match preview

Will St Mirren’s excellent start to the season continue?

A fortnight ago, the Saints caused a massive upset by ending Celtic’s 38-match unbeaten Premiership streak.

Mark O’Hara and Jonah Ayunga on target in Paisley, as the Buddies became the first side to beat the champions in the league for 364 days.

That result means Stephen Robinson’s side have won four of their last five, following victories over Ross County, Dundee United and Hibs, keeping a clean sheet in all of these wins.

So, the Buddies kick off fourth in the table, last finishing that high in 1981.

Livingston though have also impressed so far, behind their hosts on goal difference alone.

Cristian Montaño the match-winner both times at the Tony Macaroni Arena, scoring in the 28th and then 25th minutes.

The winners of this one could end the day third, so who will be celebrating at the SMISA Stadium?
