Match preview

The Derby della Mole will conclude this week’s gameweek in Serie A as Juventus welcome Turin to the Allianz Arena as the away side aim to get their first win since 2014/15 in a derby that has been dominated by the Old Lady.

Torino have barely ever had the edge over their Turin rivals and even this year, Juventus have had a 15-point deduction but still sit ahead of Torino by one point as the club have won six more games in Serie A so far.

The last victory for Torino came back in 2014/15 in a home game that saw them edge past Juventus 2-1. However, 13 wins for the Old Lady have come in since, as the other four games ended in a draw. This also makes it one of the lengthiest winless runs in Serie A history within a local derby.

Torino are winless in their past two games as well, having lost to AC Milan 1-0 in Milan before a 2-2 draw with the winless Cremonese. In fact, the club have only beaten Fiorentina and Udinese in Serie A in 2023.

As for Juventus, they smashed Nantes in the Europa League in their last outing and haven’t lost a game since a home loss to Monza at the end of January.
