Match preview
The headline fixture of the Serie A weekend is set to play out at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona this Sunday, April 2nd.
The matchup in question will see Napoli act as hosts, in a meeting with AC Milan.
Beginning with the former, Napoli, of course, have proven the standout team in not only Italy but, arguably, across the whole of Europe to this point in the season.
Owing to a scintillating brand of attacking football, spearheaded by star men Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, coupled with a new-found solidity at the back, the Partenopei have romped to victory in all but four of their 27 league outings thus far.
Leading into the international break, Luciano Spalletti’s troops showcased their bouncebackability, too, in responding to a surprise home defeat at the hands of Lazio by way of three straight wins.
Most recently, after making short work of Eintracht Frankfurt en route to booking their spot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, they ran riot at Torino, with an Osimhen brace the highlight in an eventual 4-0 result.

Safe to say, then, that AC Milan will have their work cut out for them this weekend.
This comes as the Rossoneri prepare for the unenviable task of taking on Spalletti’s rampant men three times in the space of three weeks, after they were pitted against one another in Europe, too.
Milan, for their part, entered last week’s international break amid an altogether less productive run of form.
In fact, all told Stefano Pioli and co. have failed to emerge on the right side of the result in any of their last four fixtures.
The latest proved of particular concern, as a trip to the Stadio Friuli culminated in an eventual 3-1 defeat at the hands of Udinese.
The Diavolo, as a result, have tumbled to 4th in the standings, in the knowledge that a 2nd successive loss on Sunday will likely see them ousted from the Serie A Champions League spots entirely.
And we at 101 are backing precisely that to ultimately play out, with hosts Napoli the overwhelming favourites to emerge with all three points come the full-time whistle at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
