Sparta Prague v Malmo

Sparta won the first leg of their Champions League play-off 2-0 in Sweden and will be eager to finish the job on home soil tonight.

The Czech side are unbeaten in all competitions this season, although they were held by Slovacko at the weekend.

Malmo have not won in two, following the defeat to Sparta with a 2-2 draw at Kalmar in the Allsvenskan.

The Champions League riches on offer mean there will be no let up from Sparta tonight.

TIP: Sparta to win @17/20.

Rayo Vallecano v Barcelona

Rayo are always a tough nut to crack at Vallecas but Barcelona have impressed in the early games under new coach Hansi Flick.

Two difficult games, away at Valencia and at home to Athletic Bilbao, have resulted in six points and with Dani Olmo now registered and available, they will present a formidable challenge for the hosts tonight.

Rayo have started strong as well with four points from two games but Barca’s ability to freshen up their squad ought to give them the edge.

TIP: Both sides to score and Barcelona to win @13/5

Blackburn v Blackpool

We dip into the EFL Cup for our third selection and it’s a north-west derby between Blackburn and Blackpool.

The sides have made contrasting starts to the new season with Rovers riding high in third in the Championship while Blackpool sit third from bottom in League One.

What they do have in common, though, is goals.

Blackburn have scored 14 in four league and cup games this season – including six in their first-round win at Stockport County – while the Seasiders have managed nine having thrown away a 4-1 lead to draw 4-4 at Cambridge on Saturday.

TIP: Both sides to score at 3/4.

Accumulator

Put the three above tips into an acca and it comes out at a very attractive 10.65/1. That would be a nice way to start the week!
