Harry Kane’s gruelling first half of the season continued last night as he featured in Tottenham’s Carabao Cup defeat at Nottingham Forest.
Spurs crashed out of the cup losing 2-0 to the team currently sat bottom of the Premier League.
For the England captain, he has now started in all 21 of Spurs’ games this season.
Antonio Conte opted to withdraw him at the City Ground just before the hour mark with the striker struggling to make an impact.
After the game, the Italian coach issued a worrying update on Kane’s fitness.
Conte: “It’s only fatigue but it’s normal because Harry played every game”

Conte admitted in his press conference that Kane had to come off due to fatigue and that he was “really, really tired”.
Son, Richarlison and Kulusevski have all missed large parts of the season due to injuries.
The 29-year-old has amassed a total of 1,847 minutes of action since August, which does not include his minutes for England.
He now faces one more game for Spurs before heading off to the World Cup.
Conte said: “Yesterday we had a soft training session and at one point he stopped himself to recover energy.
“But he’s okay, it’s only fatigue but it’s normal because Harry played every game.
“When you have a player like him it’s difficult to decide you don’t play with him.”
