Promotion-chasing Northampton Town will be looking to get back in the win column when they head to the EnviroVent Stadium where 20th-placed Harrogate Town awaits them after their sensational result last time out.
Harrogate played out arguably their biggest game of the season last weekend, beating Rochdale 4-1 away from home. It means the club has now created a four-point gap on Rochdale and sit comfortably away from the Greater Manchester side sitting in the relegation zone.
On the other hand, Harrogate managed to lose 3-1 to 24th-placed Harrogate Town in the FA Cup just prior to this, but in beating Mansfield Town 3-0 before that, the club will be confident heading into this one.
Northampton’s run towards the top two has taken a hit in recent weeks by drawing 0-0 with 14th-placed Tranmere Rovers. Neverthless, they still sit five points ahead of Barrow in fourth and only four behind second-placed Stevenage. They are, however, still nine points adrift of Leyton Orient at the top of the table and need to win here if they want to get their promotion run back on track.
Northampton did manage to beat Bradford City 3-1 in the game before drawing to Tranmere, while also edging past Gillingham 2-0 – both wins were away from home. In fact, after Orient, they have the best away record in the league.
