Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of teenager Endrick for a record 60m euro deal from Brazilian side Palmeiras as they look to continue their production of elite Brazilian talent.
Having already landed Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr in recent years, Los Blancos have fought off interest from Chelsea and PSG to land the 16-year-old, in a deal that will go through in 2024 when he turns 18.
The wonderkid netted on his first start for his current club, helping his side clinch the Brazilian Serie A title in the process, and has been widely touted as a future world star. So far, he has grabbed three goals and an assist in five games for Palmeiras, and will continue to play in the Brazilian Serie A for the next two seasons until he becomes an adult.
“Real Madrid CF, Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, Endrick and his family have reached an agreement whereby the player will be able to join Real Madrid when he comes of age in July 2024″, an official statement read. “Until then, Endrick will continue his training at the SE Palmeiras. The player will travel to Madrid in the coming days to visit our club’s facilities.”

Meanwhile, the Palmeiras president added that: “We completed the biggest negotiation in the history of Brazilian football. Real Madrid’s proposal is compatible with Endrick’s enormous talent and corresponds to the sporting and financial goals that we have established since the beginning of negotiations”.
And the 16-year-old sensation continued: “Until I join Real Madrid, I will continue to dedicate myself as I have always dedicated myself to being able to offer Palmeiras even more on the pitch: more goals, more victories, more titles and even more joy for our fans.”
