Premier League pace-setters Arsenal remain publicly on the hunt to add Shakhtar Donetsk’s Ukrainian starlet Mykhailo Mudryk to the young squad under beloved manager Mikel Arteta during the January transfer window, with the Gunners viewing the 21-year-old as a potential world-beater and key long-term puzzle piece at the Emirates Stadium.
But the north London giants are also rumored to be scrolling down their potential continental shopping list for other targets in January after recent reports have linked Arsenal to Montpellier HSC youngster Sepe Elye Wahi.
According to Get French Football News in details sourced from Foot Mercato, the Gunners are now one of a number of top clubs around Europe that have turned their attention toward the 20-year-old French youth international after he has progressed rapidly in the county’s Occitanie region.

Wahi recently scored his seventh goal of the 2022-23 Ligue 1 season, and in doing so, became the second-youngest player to reach 20 Ligue 1 goals behind – you guessed it – Kylian Mbappé, and with that success has come interest from some big corners of the continent.
Premier League quartet Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Tottenham, are said to be joined by Italian giants Juventus as clubs that are keeping tabs on the youngster, but a winter price tag of around €30m would be the starting point of any possible deal.
Additionally, with Arsenal’s interest in Mudryk all but guaranteed to end in a move for the 21-year-old Ukrainian winger, and the club’s long-term depth in the forward line through Gabriel Jesus, Eddie Nketiah, and on-loan academy product Folarin Balogun, any move for Wahi is not thought to be of the greatest priority for the club if rumors are to be believed.
