GK: Łukasz Skorupski (Bologna Football Club 1909)

Polish international shot-stopper Lukasz Skorupski earned every bit of praise he has received this season in net for Emilia-Romagna outfit Bologna, with the 31-year-old saving a penalty and making a number of key saves in a 1-1 home against reinvigorated Juventus at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

RB: Domilson Cordeiro dos Santos (ACF Fiorentina)

Brazilian wingback Domilson Cordeiro dos Santos, also known as Dodô, has enjoyed a strong first season in Firenze since his summer arrival from Shakhtar Donetsk, putting in another good performance at right-back while adding an assist in a 5-0 rout of Sampdoria.

RCB: Andreas Christensen (Futbol Club Barcelona)

Danish international center-back Andreas Christensen continues to prove to be a brilliant piece of summer business by Spanish giants Barcelona after another influential display in the heart of Xavi’s defense as Barça smashed high-flying Real Betis 4-0, with the Dane chipping in on the scoresheet.

LCB: Matthias Ginter (Sport-Club Freiburg)

German international defender Matthias Ginter was once again at the center of it all for European-motivated SC Freiburg at the weekend in their narrow 1-0 win away at 1.FC Köln, putting in a masterful defensive performance to help Christian Streich’s outfit remain in the top-four for another week.

LB: Darline Yongwa (Football Club Lorient Bretagne Sud)

FC Lorient produced one of the club’s best-ever results in its history at the weekend when they stormed into Paris and came away with a 3-1 win against the French champions in a fantastic display, with young Cameroonian full-back Darline Yongwa putting in a man of the match performance in the process.

RCM: Joshua Kimmich (Fußball-Club Bayern München)

German giants Bayern Munich took back control of the top spot in the Bundesliga at the weekend after a 2-0 win against Hertha BSC, with international icon Joshua Kimmich dominating play in the center of the park against the capital side while boasting a brace of assists in a record-breaking performance.

RW: Jérémy Doku (Stade Rennais Football Club)

Belgian international winger Jérémy Doku has continued to be a revelation in Brittany for local giants Stasde Rennais in the 2022-23 Ligue 1 campaign, with the 20-year-old starlet adding a brace during a 4-2 win over Angers to bring his tally to five goals as Rennes push for Europe.

LW: Enzo Le Fée (Football Club Lorient Bretagne Sud)

Highly-touted French midfielder Enzo Le Fée is likely to depart Lorient in the summer after he has continued to develop into one of the brightest young players in France this season, but his influence in Brittany remains for now and was evident at the weekend in the club’s massive 3-1 win at PSG.

RF: Luka Jović (ACF Fiorentina)

Former Serbian wunderkind Luka Jović may be on his way to finally resettling at a club to rekindle what was once a bright young career during his spell with Fiorentina this season, with the 25-year-old bagging a hat trick of assists in a 5-0 thrashing of bottom-dwelling Sampdoria on Sunday.

LF: Karim Benzema (Real Madrid Club de Fútbol)

French star Karim Benzema continues to weave his name into Real Madrid lore with his exploits in front of goal which persisted at the weekend when he hit a hat trick against Almería during a 4-2 win at the Santiago Bernabeu, pulling him within two goals of Robert Lewandowski in the goal chart.
